PHARMADO & PHARMADAUNT

Has anyone else noticed how much worse the side effects of various Pharmaceutical offerings are getting on t.v.? is this bothering anyone else? Why are the people tolerating and actually buying these offerings instead unanimously demanding higher standards? Why do we allow such money hungry jaggernauts to determine the direction of medicine? One word, capitalism, on the individual level we never want anyone to ever limit the way we are allowed to increase as people. This thought, emotion, point of view is precisely what big Pharma uses to loull the masses to inactivity. That and the excessive amount of extra cash they throw out to Lobbyists in every state to push their agenda. You might be wondering what's my point, is my goal to tare down big Pharma as a whole. Absolutely not, what I would hope all of us want is a change in direction, no need to tare down a system that's already in place. However, that is no reason to keep on putting up with how business is done......What I would hope is that people would begin to speak with their wallets exactly what they're demands are. That's the only way and we all know it. Problem with us human beings is, we simply don't like to suffer for a little while, as the changes are made. We have shown this over and over with the re growth of our society, we don't like discomfort so that makes us an impatient bunch lol. However we also know in the end what we truly desire. And what is it that we really desire? To be healthy, live long lives, and to know that those we have entrusted with our bodies are not thinking capitalistically first and foremost. I would also hope that we would start demanding that stop looking to erase SYMPTONS by means of DERIVATIVES of other actual natural products. In other words, we are tired of having to suffer the consequences of chemical compounds or equivalents, where they can at best guess what the un natural results maybe, and then spit that garbage at us on tv. They actually are telling us: hey we are doing a bad job with just taking care of the problem, we just want to attack the symptoms, or cover up the bodies natural response the real PROBLEM, duh. The body doesn't have symptoms for symptoms its having, right, however it definitely develops more if we act as if it does. That's crazy right? Why can't we the people ask for better legislation? Lets look at something similar that enters our bodies and we are demanding change for, PESTICIDES. Years ago this was not a topic of interest, AT ALL. Everyone involved was making money, capitalism is always king, until we say otherwise. 60 minutes exposed it, but WE demanded the change, how? with our wallets. The Pesticides was messing with our bodies,but c'mon we still got the benefits from the apples even with the harmful PESTICIDES, so what was the big deal? They didn't tell us about all the harmful side effects, same thing with big TOBACCO. How has big PHARMA gotten around this? THEY SIMPLY TELL US THEY ARE BAD SIDE EFFECTS, and because they are satisfying that part of the matter we give them a pass? We actually allow them to entrap us into plausible deniability situations. We take something in hopes it helps us, we develop another more serious issues from the remedies, we are now out time, money and a system that gives a crap. And they make lots of money, we need to start asking hard questions, like does the FDA make money off of these deals? IF so, it needs to change, how can they be impartial and looking out for the best interest of the people if they are also accepting money for those who only want to make money? Aren't they making money on both ends? "here people, give us some money so I can raise the standards for health care, but on other hand, they say give me some money big PHARMA so we can: insert reasoning here, bet its capitalistic in nature......So do we/I have a problem with CAPITALISM? Hell no, I wouldn't be an american if I didn't like the idea of making my own destiny according to ability? However does capitalism belong in every aspect of our society? Shouldn't some areas be shielded from the greed and lavish salaries that often follow capitalism for capitalism sake? HEALTHCARE should be shielded from wanton excess, the FDA should only be paid by the people, that's the only way to make it impartial! Thoughts?
